Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
A long-standing initiative of the Latin American countries, the Inter-American Development Bank was established in 1959 as a multilateral finance institution for the development of the region. The IDB, the oldest and largest regional bank in the world, is the main source of multilateral financing for economic, social and institutional development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Nexos Voluntarios is supported by IDB Youth, an initiative within IDB that fosters development efforts promoted by young people.
United Nations Population Fund - UNFPA
UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is an international development agency that promotes the right of every woman, man and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity. UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programmes to reduce poverty and to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect. Nexos Voluntarios and the UNFPA collaborate in promoting reproductive health in Peru through the reproductive health campaigns we excecute among other related projects.
German-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce
With 120 offices in 80 countries, the German chambers of Commerce support their members through their experience and contacts to open up markets and create networks. Nexos Voluntarios receives the support of the German Peruvian Chamber of Commerce in the work we do with German organizations (companies and universities).

Canadian-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce
Canadian-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce- Canadian chambers of Commerce support their members through their experience and contacts to open up markets and create networks. Nexos Voluntarios receives the support of the Canadian Peruvian Chamber of Commerce in the work we do with Canadian organizations (companies and universities).

Non-Profit Organizations
Health
Partners In Health (PIH) /Socios en Salud (SES)
is a non-profit Harvard based organization with a presence in Latin America, the Caribbean, Russia, and the United States. PIH strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair. Since 1994, PIH has been working with Peruvian sister organization Socios En Salud (SES) to treat disease and to train community members in preventive health measures; SES is now Peru’s largest health non-profit.

Richmond Fellowship Perú Foundation (FRFP)
is a prestigious NGO here supported by the Baring´s Foundation and the Ministry of Social Development of Peru. The RFPF is working intensively in Ayacucho, which is the region that was most affected by political violence in the 1980s and now has the highest rates of domestic violence in the whole country (63%). The RFPF runs two projects related to domestic violence prevention with women and children, and they need to start working with the aggressors, which they plan to do soon. The sites are one in Ayacucho and one in Quinua (45 minutes away from Ayacucho). The project in Quinua is very well organized and the mayor, who is a woman, is the leader. You would be organizing support groups and doing coaching to victims. You can live in Ayacucho and travel to Quinua everyday.
The Vine Trust
is an international charity with a vision to see communities transformed. They work to bring opportunity, health and hope to disadvantaged communities with a particular concern for vulnerable children. In Peru, the Vine Trust has programs through which street kids are educated and taken care of, as well as two boat crews that bring medical services to remote communities in the rainforest.

Centro Ann Sullivan del Perú (CASP)
is a non-profit organization that offers gold-standard educational programs and psychological support to people with mental retardation, autism and behavioral problems. CASP also trains professionals who work in the field with a base-line philosophy directed to promote independence, self-reliance and happiness in people with disabilities.

CPAL
Centro Peruano de Audición, Lenguaje y Aprendizaje, is a benchmark non-profit institution dedicated to diagnosing and rehabilitating children, adolescents and adults with hearing, language and/or learning disabilities. CPAL also focuses on training teachers, psychologists, linguists and doctors on the treatment of these conditions.

Aprendo Contigo
is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide school education to hospitalized children to stop them from losing their academic year and with it their hopes of recovery. Aprendo Contigo works with children at the Pediatrics Ward in the Institute of Cancer Diseases in Lima, and in the Posadita of the Good Shepherd which holds children with HIV.
General Ollanta School of Urubamba
General Ollanta School is one of the most prestigious public schools in the city of Urubamba.  It has approximately 700 students in five grades of secondary school.  NeVo worked on various projects with this school, and the most successful was the Sexual and Reproductive Health Project.
Agropecuario School
Agropecuario School is a prestigious public school in the Sacred Valley. Over time, NeVo has carried out various activities with this school, such as workshops with professors and students about education and about creating a culture of peace. Currently, we are carrying out workshops about racism and human rights.
Wiñayninchis School
Wiñayninchis School is a parochial, primary education institution located in the heart of Urubamba.  Nexos Voluntarios carried out workshops on developing a culture of peace with professors and students. Currently, NeVo is leading workshops with children to build self-esteem and self-expression through the arts.
Villa Marcelo School
Villa Marcelo School is located in Yanahaura, a town about 10 minutes from Urubamba. Nexos Voluntarios is working on educational campaigns, campaigns to build a culture of peace, and small self-expression workshops for the children. In addition, past volunteer groups have helped with different tasks, such as construction, to improve the overall atmosphere of the institution.
Media Luna Preschool
Media Luna Preschool has 25 children who are under the care of Professor Maria Antonieta, who has participated in and support various training workshops for professors and students organized by NeVo.
Yanahuara Preschool
Yanahuara Preschool has 15 children who are under the care of Professor Gladis. Nexos Voluntarios carried out various workshops with the children about art and self-esteem.  In addition, Professor Gladis participated in the campaigns for a culture of peace carried out in November and December of 2009.

Mosoq Runa
Mosoq Runa is a children’s shelter for children with unstable or dangerous family situations.  Ada Svejanca, of Italian nationality, founded the home.  Ada’s passion for children motivated her to found this shelter and care for children in need and children who she found in the streets of Urubamba or abandoned by their families.  Currently, Mosoq Runa is located in a spacious, cozy house and approximately 15 children of different ages, as well as their caretakers, live there.
La Unión de Obras de Asistencia Social (The Union of Social Assistance Works - UOAS)
The UOAS is a private, civilian-run non-profit that works towards social development by aiding the children of the poorest families in Lima, Peru.  Founded in 1934 by Mrs. Francisca Benavides de Benavides, it currently has 9 schools, boarding schools, and day cares around the Lima area that provide education, nutrition, and safety to these children.  Nexos Voluntarios recognizes the importance of providing assistance to families in the capital who are victims of poverty and social exclusion and is working with the UOAS to promote the development of children who otherwise would not have access to adequate nutrition, living conditions, or education.

CHS Alternativo
CHS Alternativo is a non-profit organization which works in the human rights arena with a particular focus in trafficking in persons and child exploitation. One of their main projects is the implementation of a National Registry of Trafficking and Exploitation crimes in order to generate statistics that will help the work of CHS and other organizations related to the trafficking issue. They also have a 5-year project in the Amazon Jungle to assist children victims of labor exploitation. Currently, they are executing projects financed by Save the Children, ILO, USAID, among others.

Terre des Hommes Foundation
Terre des Hommes Foundation is the largest non-governmental organization (NGO) for children’s aid in Switzerland. With three areas of expertise: health, social care, and the rights of the child; it has development projects in 28 countries and emergency relief programs in 3 others. In Peru, Tdh works in the area of the rights of the child, providing legal support to minors in conflict with the law, organizing training for those involved in the Justice system (judges, lawyers, police officers, youth and social workers, etc.), and working among political and judicial authorities by campaigning for the respect and application of the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child.
APRODEH
APRODEH is a local human rights NGO, member organization of the International Federation for Human Rights, that was created to fight for the rights of victims of political violence in the 1980s. As such, it has been pioneer in the defense of victims of human rights violations, taking thousands of cases both nationally and internationally. Nowadays they are still involved in such activities and have expanded their spectrum to advocate for civil rights, i.e. women’s rights, mental health rights, and human rights in general.

EveryChild
EveryChild is a British-based organization which works to promote the rights of Children. In Peru, it has been working since 1993 and is focused on the promotion of children’s right to a secure and safe place, free of violence and mistreatment. In doing so, Everychild Works with children, parents, teachers, families and the community to educate them about the rights of children and promote the defense of those rights.
The Environment
Peru Verde
Peru Verde works to protect and add value to the biological and cultural heritage of Peru, creating jobs for and with the participation of the local people who are affected by biodiversity destruction.Within Peru Verve you can get involved in activities to take care of the environment such as monitoring species and collecting data related to newly discovered species and endangered species.
Ecovalles
EcoValles is an environmental-protection organization in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Urubamba-Cusco). They work very closely with the community and local schools to raise environmental awareness and create community-wide programs to protect the environment.
Business and Development
Association of the Artisans of the Sacred Valley
The Association of the Artisans of the Sacred Valley is the principal artisanal association in Urubamba. It has more than 30 members, who specialize in different trades, including silverwork, ceramics, textiles, and musical instruments. Nexos Voluntarios is currently working to train the artisans in subjects such as organization, leadership, and how to search for new spaces and opportunities to sell their products.
Community of Media Luna
The rural community of San José de Media Luna is located 5 minutes from Urubamba. Nexos Voluntarios began its work in this community in 2009. In order to explore in depth the problems facing this community, NeVo volunteers have carried out a situational diagnosis in which they discovered that one of the principal problems in the community was the issue of crops and fertilizers. Previously, we had also considered the possibility of establishing Media Luna as a viable tourist destination in the Sacred Valley.
ACP
ACP Inversiones y Desarrollo is a non-profit organization targeted to helping small sized enterprises strengthen their managerial capacities and have access to financial instruments and tools to boast their competitiveness. To achieve this, they organize special training sessions for small entrepreneurs and offer them advisory services and micro-insurance.
Municipality of Urubamba
The town of Urubamba is located in the Sacred Valley, about an hour from Cusco. The Municipality of Urubamba has graciously agreed to co-organize projects with us, including our work with the artisans of Urubamba.

COPEME
(Consorcio de Organizaciones Privadas de Promoción al Desarrollo de la Pequeña y Microempresa( is a non-profit PEruvian organization country promoting economic and social sustainability of micro and small enterprises and local economies. Currently, COPEME groups 60 NGOs all over the country and is focused on three areas: Financial Services for Micro-entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial development and capacities strengthening, and development of local economies. Along its almost 20 years of existence, COPEME has received support from renowned International Cooperation Agencies like the Ford Foundation, USAID, GTZ (German International Cooperation Agency), DED (German Development Service), among others.
