Projects: Medical Missions. Construction and the likes, which, though they are not considered a final goal of NeVo's work, are an important part of forming relationships built on trust and concrete results with our beneficiaries. We therefore strive to improve basic infrastructure in Urubamba and surrounding communities with the goal of covering basic needs (housing, schooling, health care) and promoting income-generation (tourist services, basic infrastructure for businesses).
Description: Group Programs are ideal for individuals who enjoy giving and feeling close to people and communities in immediate need. Since teams of volunteers work on hands-on tasks, participants are not required to have particular expertise (with the exception of medical campaigns), just the willingness to help. Group projects are available throughout the year, and are organized upon request.
Components included in fee:
- Impact driven volunteer placement in one of our projects
- Housing with at the NeVo House or in other group housing
- All meals
- Airfare Lima – Cusco - Lima
- Cultural excursions and activities
- Welcome basket and orientation
- Transportation to and from the airport in Lima and Cusco
- Comprehensive on-site support (including access to the NeVo House, a permanent coordinator and a 24-hour help line)
- Local transportation
- Access to a medical doctor in case of an emergency
- "Fire Side Chats" with a coach that help volunteers reflect upon their experiences and perceptions

- Students from all academic backgrounds.
- Involves participation in hands-on, immediate impact activities destined to benefit communities in need (construction for housing, school, medical and community centers, supporting educators and children at local daycares and school and more)

- 3 to 12 week program for group of students of 5 or more
- Students from common or complementary academic backgrouonds.
- Involves participation or combination of immediate-impact activities and more strategic social projects destined to benefit a community in need (construction for housing or schollsor supporting educators and children at local daycares, plus strategic social projects that are focused on a particular field depending on the interest and skills of the group)

Medical Campaign |
- 4 to 12 week program for groups of medical and nursing students of 5 or more.
- Students participate in strategic public health projects that involve activities to raise awareness about the importance of preventative health care and to provide specific types of care such as medical revisions, vaccinations, and basic emergency care to remote communities.
