Partnering Programs are specially designed with the partner university or organization (corporation or institution), and are customized to reflect the needs of its students or members. Each Partnering Program is different and may include a combination of hands-on volunteering, intellectual volunteering, classes and cultural activities. Partnering Programs may be faculty lead or lead by the organization itself, or entirely in charge of Nexos Voluntarios.
Partnering Programs may include the following:
- Impact-driven volunteer placement in reputable non-profit or grass-roots organizations
- Room and board with a Peruvian host family, hostel, hotel or at the NeVo House, depending on the project site and volunteers preferences . Meals are included Monday to Friday
- Donation to the project or to the NeVo social fund
- 6 weekly hours of Spanish conversation - strengthening program*
- Weekly cultural immersion activities
- Conversations with experts on different cultural topics, while volunteers are in Lima
- “Fire Side Chats” with an external coach to help volunteers open up and reflect upon their experiences and perceptions
- Comprehensive on-site support (including access to the NeVo House, a permanent coordinator and a 24-hour help line)
- Access to a medical doctor in case of an emergency
- Transportation to and from the airport in Lima, Cuzco and Urubamba
- One-to-one peer support from local students or professionals - tis an excellent way to help foreign volunteers feel at home and learn about Peruvian culture
- Advisory support from mentors or experts from private corporations and local universities
* In the case of long-term stays (more than 12 weeks) Spanish classes are included only for the first 12 weeks. They are optional thereafter.

Partnering Programs are organized upon request. There are no fixed dates for arrival and the length is evaluated individually with each volunteer.
Fees depend on the length of stay.
