NeVo’s environmental project strives to create awareness about conservation and environmental issues in Peru among Urubamba citizens, and to promote environmental protection by providing volunteer labor to support the Environmental Area of the Municipal Government of Urubamba, Peru in its work. As a volunteer, you might work towards the implementation of safe sewage systems in educational institutions and public facilities, promote health safety in local markets, or carry out awareness initiatives or public cleaning campaigns with local ecological brigades. A volunteer in the legal sphere might help develop legislation to promote local environmental causes.
