We invite local universities to participate in the NeVo network by promoting the participation of their students in a NeVo volunteer experience. A NeVo experience is a valuable asset for Peruvian students, as it combines a strengthening of their skills and capacities and a widening of their multicultural knowledge. A NeVo experience is based on the coordinated participation of non governmental organizations (NGOs), corporations, local volunteers, foreign volunteers and cooperation agencies to work towards the development of those in need. The way it works is that foreign students come to Peru to join a group of local (Peruvian) students for a special project within one of our partnering NGOs (in public health care, education, human rights, and business and development). We work with students to choose a project that closely matches his/her interests and skills. We also organize fun activities, get-togethers and cultural activities to provide an integral experience to our volunteers.
